SERVING CHAPEL HILL FOR OVER 44 YEARS

HISTORY

In 1996, at the age of 20, Angelo moved from Italy to the United States, seeking new opportunities. Life in Italy wasn’t easy, and Angelo wasn’t earning much, so when his uncle in Chapel Hill wanted to sell his pizzeria, Angelo and his brother Vincenzo decided to take over the family business.

Since 2000, they have owned and operated IP3, proudly serving the community for over 24 years. Known for our welcoming and friendly atmosphere, we treat everyone who walks through our doors like family. It’s this personal touch that has made IP3 a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike.

Our very first ice cream flavor was Mocha Licorice delight, and we scooped it from a tiny, 2 gallon home ice cream maker machine. The feedback we got (from our neighbors, and their friends) was incredible, and a dream was born.
